Why did we start yet another singles site for Catholics?
It was early in 2007 that a few of us were discussing the limitations and growing expense of existing Catholic online dating sites. As men in our late twenties and early thirties who have extensively been on Catholic dating sites, we were frustrated about the whole “online thing” and considering the idea of giving up and just letting God sort it all out.
But we soon agreed that the solution was a new website that takes the best of all the existing services and create new features that address the needs of today’s Catholic singles who want to date appropriately and have the best chance of meeting a suitable partner for marriage.
In addition, we wanted a site that would have great value but NOT need to cost so much. It’s very simple…there is no reason there cannot be a fun, powerful and respectful dating site for single Catholics AND still cost less than a couple of drinks at a bar or movie rentals each month.
So we took the plunge, and even invested time and money into consultants that we felt would help us create the best results we were looking for. And after nine months, here we are!
What are our goals?
Our goals with this site are to help single Catholics:
...get into their marriage vocation.
...have a better way to connect online and offline with other single Catholics.
...interact with their existing and new friends.
...help each other to meet their future spouses through strong introduction and recommendation features.
...realize that they must meet someone in person to really know if there is a connection, which is the purpose of Fast Track Meeting.
If we can accomplish these goals, then this site is serving Jesus Christ and the people of God as it was intended by us.

Every service and every feature we will ever build or offer is yours for this great price. And if you decide to take a break, you stop paying from that moment until you want to resume. It's as simple as that.
We really feel that singles can have a powerful website to meet a potential spouse or make new friends, and it NOT be costly.
The SC Help
Though we will strive to have excellent customer service, this site will be much more dynamic and effective if members help each other. So we have created the capability of members to help each other by providing the ability for members to post questions on our FAQ and post answers. We also have a member's tips and advice area so you can further help each other use the SingleCatholics site. Finally, we have an SC News blog where you can keep updated on SC news and share your comments.
We want this site to be an active community where everyone works to help each other wherever possible. And this will help us to keep working on a better service without having to spend too much of our own time answering questions.
The Future
We will continue to improve the site often. We have a long list of very exciting features and functionality we plan to add in the near future. Feel free to suggest anything that you would like us to add, as we are always looking for constructive feedback. As well, keep looking for our new features, and let us know what you like or don't like about them. We are building this site for you, so we appreciate any and all feedback you can provide.
